Managerial
A director is the most important role in the media/film/theatre and TV production. They are the people that overlook a production being filmed and direct and give actions on what to do, how to do it, think of ideas on the spot and contribute to how the whole production is run. They are there to advise and further develop a situation, and they have the final say on everything. The main thing is that they are the person driving the production to its best ability, so they have a lot of pressure on their shoulders. But they thrive off the end result and this is what makes them satisfied within their job. Other job responsibilities for a director include casting, script editing, shot composition, shot selecting and editing overall. They also have to be aware of the budget and finances for the film but aren't the ones that necessarily manage it, as that is left down to the producers of the production.
